Admissions Policy
All Students
- Children entering kindergarten or first grade must be five (5) or six (6) years of age respectively, prior to December 1.
- One parent must know Christ as their Savior.
- The family must be attending a church which accepts the historical fundamentals of the faith and understand that CCA teaches Scripture from the Baptist perspective. The historical fundamentals include:
- Authority of Scriptures
- Salvation by grace
- Deity of Jesus Christ
- Belief in the Triune God
- The bodily resurrection and return of Christ - Without all letters of recommendation an interview cannot be granted.
- Parents should be in agreement with the standards and policies set by Calvary Christian Academy.
- Complete and submit all application forms (with appropriate fee).
- Each new student applying may be tested before placement to better insure success in the particular grade level.
- The school is not equipped to meet the needs of students with excessive learning difficulties nor those with extensive social problems.
- Student should be able to give a testimony of salvation (grades 7-12).
- Students must not have been expelled at previous school (or unwelcome to return).
- All new families and students are on one year of probation (academic/social).
- Interview, if granted, with both parents, student and administration.
We reserve the privilege of refusing admittance to anyone we feel does not meet our requirements for admissions.
