CCA Class Photo Restoration
This past June, Calvary Christian Academy celebrated the accomplishments of our 36th graduating class. This is a milestone for CCA in that it also represents the achievements of many more young people from the past, such as yourself, whose lives have been impacted by the ministry of CCA. As I spoke to our families last week, we reflected back over the rich heritage of graduates that God has given CCA. You are among many, serving Him in various capacities in communities around the world, as a witness to His love and goodness.
As you recall, part of the heritage that you left behind at Calvary was your inclusion in the composite picture of your class that hangs in our main hallway. Over the years, those composites have come to mean a great deal to our past families as well as our current and new families. Everyone enjoys looking for familiar faces or reconnecting with the past.
This past spring, we began a project to restore each of our composite pictures. You may have noticed that some of the individual pictures were fading a bit and showing other signs of age. We have contracted with Nelson Amos Studios in Ypsilanti to restore each composite. This includes the restoration of color, removal of scratches or imperfections from each individual's picture, printing the composite on archival paper to ensure longevity of the restoration process, professional matting, framing and usage of UV protective glass. The finished product is a wonderful work of art!
The cost to restore each composite is $170. CCA's Honor Society recently contributed $2,000 towards this project, and we would also like to invite you to assist us in this worthwhile project of preserving this heritage for many more years to come.

CCA Alumni Profiles
CCA alumni continue to distinguish themselves in their representation of Jesus Christ and our school. Here are a few examples:
- Abigail Brokos ’08 is a Political Science major at Texas Christian University. She was recently invited to consider an internship at the State Department in Washington, D.C.
- Tim Talladay ’05 recently graduated from Western Michigan University, having been selected the outstanding senior for Aeronautical Engineering.
- Joe Haverlock ’03 is in full-time ministry, serving as a Worship Pastor in a Michigan local church.
- Sara Graham ’00 completed her Bachelor of Science at Eastern Michigan University and her Master's in Global Health at Loma Linda University. She was recently accepted into medical school.
- John Cropsey ’97 just completed his residency in ophthalmology. He and his wife Jessica (Birk) ’97 recently arrived in Kenya, and are serving as medical missionaries.
