If you like playing basketball, then Junior Hoopsters is the program for you!  Boys and girls in 3rd–8th grade learn basic basketball skills, sportsmanship, and compete in plenty of games in this organized league.

Each player is evaluated for team selection to create balanced teams that are competitive. Games are played on Saturdays on a full court in the CCA gym, complete with coaches, referees, and a time clock.

Important Dates

• Registration for Junior Hoopsters is Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.  (Applications will still be accepted after this registration date.)
• First practice is Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
• Second practice is Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.  Kids will be divided into their teams, and coaches will begin practicing with their own teams.  We are still accepting new players on this date.
• Tournament begins Saturday, March 19, 2011.
• Championship games will be played Saturday, March 26, 2011.
• This year's All-Star games are scheduled for April 2, 2011, followed by the coaches appreciation party, with pizza and an open gym.

The season runs through March 2011. The cost is only $20 per player, which includes the team shirt and a trophy.

All players must complete the following forms in order to participate:

• Registration Form
• Consent and Release (signed by parent/guardian)

Junior Hoopsters is a ministry of Calvary Christian Academy, and is open to boys and girls in 3rd–8th grade, regardless of whether you attend our chuch or school.
