Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to millions of children in desperate situations worldwide through gift-filled shoe boxes and the good news of God's love.
Update: This year we were able to pack 69 shoe boxes, with enough shipping money for over 98 boxes. Big thanks to all who had a part in this ministry!
On the Samaritan's Purse website, you can download these All About Me coloring pages to send with your shoe box. This way you can tell the children who get your boxes all about you, and show them how far the box traveled to get to them.
If you pay the $7.00 shipping for your box online using EZ Give with a credit or debit card, you will receive an EZ Give label in your e-mail receipt that can be used to track your box all the way to its final destination.
Here at Calvary Baptist Church, we will collect boxes through Sunday, November 13. You can contribute by filling a box or by helping with the postage of $7.00 per box. Make checks payable to Samaritan’s Purse with "Operation Christmas Child" on the memo line.
Remember to keep praying for the children and their families whose lives will be impacted this year through Operation Christmast Child. Pray especially that many hearts will be opened to God's love and the good news of Jesus Christ.
Mark your calendars for our Family Super Bowl Party after the evening service on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Everyone is invited to come watch the Patriots take on the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI with us on the "big screen" in the fellowship hall.
Food will be provided with your donation of just $5.00 per person. Feel free—but not obligated—to bring your own favorite snacks to eat and share.
