Special

Pastor Matt had the opportunity to take several teens and other adults on a missions trip to Peru in July/August 2011. They worked with missionaries David and Kandie Stilwell to help the people of Peru understand the awesome work that Christ has accomplished on the cross for all of us.

In case you missed their report in our Sunday service, you can check out the video Pastor Matt made right here:

Mission Statement

As servants of Jesus Christ, our mission is to glorify God by proclaiming His powerful message to Peruvians.

Theme Verse

Romans 1:16—"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes."

Ministering in Peru

  • Soccer Outreaches—Local churches of Trujillo will invite Peruvian young people to play some games of soccer with us and use the wordless soccer balls. Afterward, we’ll hand out wordless gospel tracts and explain how each color represents a truth that God wants us to know in order to go to heaven. When finished, we’ll leave the balls with the churches for them to use in the future.
  • Camp Ministry—For six days, we will minister to the Peruvian young people in various ways at Fortress Baptist Camp.
  • Laboring for Christ—Possibly building bunk beds, painting, etc.
  • In churches—Preaching, singing, tesimonies.
